Zara Zervos

Zara Zervos is a senior dual majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis in Astronautical Engineering. Zara holds her L1 high powered rocketry certification through the Tripoli Rocketry Association. She also holds a HAM Radio Technician License, and has the call sign KF8BKA.
This is Zara’s third year with WVUER and previously has acted as the club’s Outreach Officer. She also is the club’s Recovery Lead and is working on adding experimental recovery aspects as a club project to encourage others to learn about recovery. Outside of rocketry, Zara is a member of WVU’s cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams, SWE, and is a MMAE Mountaineer Mentor. She also enjoys petting stray cats, long walks on the beach, and taste testing popcorn.
