Club History
WVU Experimental Rocketry was form back in 2013 by a group of students dedicated to pursuing their passions of amateur high-power rocketry through connecting it with their academics here at WVU. Since the club's origin, WVU Experimental Rocketry has grown its base beyond high-power rocketry to create sounding rockets, scientific payloads participate in outreach initiatives, and help students grow their interest in high-power rocketry. The club is based on students-teaching-students mindset where previous member knowledge is passed down year to year as WVUER is student led and organized.
