Jordyn Herter

Jordyn is a junior studying Mechanical and Aerospace engineering with an emphasis in robotics and astronautics. This is her third year as a member of WVUER, and her second year acting as the Safety Officer. She is heavily involved in club projects, acting as the Aerostructures subteam lead, while also contributing to the active drag, payload, and recovery subteams. She currently holds her HAM radio license, N8HER, and Tripoli L1 and L2 certifications. Jordyn is actively pursuing her L3 certification as the club's current Designated L3. Outside of WVUER, Jordyn is a tutor at WVU’s Engineering Learning Center, a Mountaineer Mentor, and a mentor for her high school's Technology Student Association chapter, reflecting her passion for helping her fellow students grow as engineers. When she isn't dwelling in the Engineering Sciences Building, Jordyn can be found baking, painting, and making pottery.
